The goals of the Mt Zion Family & Kids Ministry are to fulfill the mandate given to us by God: to bring forth Godly children who understand that they are children of God, with a mission to fulfill His will and purpose in their life, and also to support the parents as they too grow in God and mature. Our Family & Kids services take place at Mt Zion Church, located at 4900 Maybee Rd. Clarkston, MI.

GET CONNECTED

Our weekly Sunday Morning Service is our chance to gather with the kids of Mt Zion, be able to teach them about the Bible and to teach them how to grow with the Lord.

Childcare is limited for 9am service.

In a desire to further develop and grow our Mt Zion children, we are excited to announce our Wednesday night acting and dance program. Beginning Wednesday, March 1st, Clare Carnell and Laura Niewoit will be working with our children in acting and dance, and this will replace our current K-5th grade service format. We believe this program will give our children an opportunity to learn in a different format, and we will have a showcase for parents to see the fruit of their labor. Make plans to get your children involved in our “God is with Me” production and help them get further connected. We will have production presentation on Thursday, June 8th at 6:30pm. Acting will be open to all children, Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Dance instruction will be for those children enrolled in the Mt Zion School of Performing Arts. Please note: acting auditions will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 7pm and the complete program begins 3/1. Click here to sign up.   • As the host venue we are not an authorized box office, but as a courtesy we are able to sell tickets without ticketing fees. Limited selection of tickets are available for $19, $27, or $37 seating for purchase approximately 5 to 10 minutes before and after the 10:30am service on Sunday morning beginning Feb 4th in the Main Lobby (enter at Door #2; cash or check only). Amidst a world filled with challenges, Matthew West invites you to experience the power of prayer like never before. Get ready for your favorites like “Hello, My Name Is,” “Truth Be Told,” and “The God Who Stays” that are sure to inspire! You won’t want to miss this evening where prayers become melodies, hearts are touched, and souls are encouraged. So mark your calendars and gather your friends and family for the “Don’t Stop Praying Tour” this spring. A limited number of VIP and Early Entry tickets are available. We hope to see YOU there!

 

HANDICAP PARKING

There is a designated handicap parking lot adjacent to Door #1 in the main parking lot. You can access this parking lot by entering at the Mt. Zion sign off Maybee Rd. Please note, there are a limited number of spaces in this lot so if a handicap space is needed, we encourage you to arrive early. Depending on traffic, we also have the ability to ‘drop off’ any family member with limited mobility at Door #1 and then it is possible for the driver to finish parking the vehicle and meet their family member in the center lobby. Again, if this is of interest, we recommend you arrive early. Otherwise, traffic patterns limit maneuverability in the parking lot to park your vehicle after Drop Off. ABOUT US

Focused on living a healthy lifestyle, the facility will offer classes to strengthen and define muscles, improve balance, and increase stamina. Coaches will be prepared to offer modifications to meet the level of each student in the class. Our facility is suitable for those just starting out on their journey and those who have been focused on fitness for a while. What to expect:

  • We encourage comfortable modest activewear and ask that you wear indoor sneakers when in the fitness center.
  • We offer two locker rooms with changing areas, one of which has showers.
  • We have all the fitness equipment you need but encourage you to bring your own yoga mat to class. We offer foam mats which are great for fitness and restorative yoga, but many prefer a thinner mat for slow flow classes.
